Talks&Drinks in Krakow: discussions on the transformation of the BSS sector

Representatives from the business, administration, and academic sectors met in Krakow for the latest edition of Talks&Drinks with friends, organized by Pro Progressio. The event focused on the ongoing evolution of the modern business services sector, specifically the implementation of Artificial Intelligence tools and the transformation of service center operating models.

Meeting of business and administration representatives

The meeting took place on May 7, 2026, at the Loftmill Diamante Plaza office in Krakow. This recurring series by Pro Progressio brings together representatives from business, local government, and academia to facilitate the exchange of experience and strengthen professional relationships.

Participants in this edition included members of the Pro Progressio Club, representatives from the Municipal Labor Office in Krakow, and professionals from technology companies, the HR industry, workplace environment organizations, and the real estate market.

BSS sector amidst operational transformation

The substantive part of the meeting was led by Wiktor Doktór, President of Pro Progressio, who shared observations from the OWS26 conference in Chicago along with current trends and challenges facing the BPO and SSC sectors.

The modern services sector is currently undergoing a major transition, with industry data from outside Poland showing different trends than those observed across the Atlantic. Regardless of geography, the BSS sector is placing a strong emphasis on implementing solutions based on artificial intelligence and transitioning service centers from the Global Business Services (GBS) model to Global Capability Centers (GCC), which requires more advanced technological, analytical, and strategic competencies.

The Krakow event was held in partnership with Bolt for Business and Loftmill.

Announcement of upcoming events

During the gathering, organizers invited participants to the Follow the Leaders congress, scheduled to take place in the Tricity on May 27–28.

Additionally, the next edition of Talks&Drinks is planned for June 11 in Warsaw.
